A busy intersection in Westchester has been reopened to traffic following a police investigation into a serious crash.  

The intersection of Yonkers Avenue and Walnut Street in Yonkers has reopened following a crash between a motorcycle and another vehicle that caused serious injuries, Yonkers Police Public Information Officer Dean Politopoulos announced on Tuesday, March 7 around 5 p.m. 

The intersection was closed at 2:30 p.m. as police investigated the crash.

The crash caused serious but non-life-threatening injuries, Politopoulos said.
